Core Shop Superintendent

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage production output and ensure staff are trained and equipped to meet targets.
• Minimise scrap through monitoring, problem-solving, and corrective actions.
• Ensure on-time deliveries of cores and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Control departmental costs in line with budget and raise requisitions as required.
• Enforce quality procedures, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate quality records aligned with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) regulations.
• Develop and train staff to enhance skills and growth within the department.
• Monitor overtime, headcount, and workplace discipline.
• Maintain a clean and organised production floor.
• Attend production and scrap meetings to discuss improvements and corrective actions.
