Job Description

To manage Sunbake in a profitable manner to increase sales and brand image while producing a high-quality product which is in line with consumer demands. This must be done in line with the implementation of the Strategic Plan. Extensive travel is a feature of the job.

Duties & Responsibilities

Production : To produce high quality product at the required volumes at optimum cost levels.

To ensure standardised recipes are implemented throughout the Sunbake / Sunshine Group.

Monitor KPIs and ensure adherence to targets; maintain quality control; implement HACCP.

Ensure customer requirements are met; manage production costs and raw material usage within forecasted levels.

Ensure compliance with legal requirements; manage capacity to fulfill orders; promote health and safety culture in production teams.

Despatch, Delivery, Maintenance, and other functional areas follow with similar structure and responsibilities as listed in the original description, grouped by function (Plant Maintenance, Despatch and Delivery, Transport, Cost Control, Debtors, Administration, Procurement, Risk Management, Human Resources, Strategic Issues).

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor degree

Valid driver’s licence

Registered with the chamber of baking will be advantageous

Baking experience and background is a must

A minimum of five years working experience in a similar role
