Job Description : Winning Form has an exciting opportunity available for a Social Media Coordinator to be based in Umhlanga. The role involves actively managing the social media image of the Soccer Betting News publication using the different social media platforms available, ensuring achievement of the company's strategic objectives, goal plans and targets, compliance with all policies and procedures, strict adherence to internal controls, and accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
Understanding of soccer (local and international) and knowledge of betting are required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the management of the SBN social media platforms.
- Responsible for live sporting updates and soccer news on the social media platforms.
- Increase the base of followers on all social media platforms.
- Maintain up-to-date live scores, betting, stats, and news on social media platforms.
- Maintain the SBN website and be responsible for loading articles and liaising with online clients.
- Write ad‑hoc articles which are featured in the SBN.
- Track performance by yourself and set up performance review meetings with your Line Manager.
- Ensure 100% compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant laws.
- Ensure content activity in the social media post and that all documents are chronologically saved or backed up.
- Ensure that the social media posts are free from racial, gender bias, derogatory or defamatory comments.
- Implement measures to achieve short, medium and long‑term goals and assist with new SBN initiatives and projects.
- Actively seek methods to attract new customers and enhance the social media image of the publication.
- Keep abreast of competition in the soccer publications market and maintain a high‑quality social media image.
