Company and Job Description :

A leading player in the construction and engineering industry is seeking an accomplished Finance Manager – Africa to oversee financial operations across Southern Africa. This pivotal role is suited to a CA(SA) / CIMA with 10-13 years’ experience who is ready to provide strategic financial leadership, ensure compliance, and drive performance across multiple African countries.

The role will be based in South Africa, with regular travel into neighboring regions. The successful incumbent will play a key part in strengthening governance, optimizing financial systems, and supporting business growth across a diverse project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance function across Southern Africa.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to drive informed decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage project accounting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
• Partner with business leaders to improve financial performance and mitigate risk.
• Drive process improvement and strengthen internal controls.
• Mentor and develop finance teams across various regions.
• Oversee audits, ensure readiness, and maintain strong governance across the region.
• Travel regularly to support in‑country operations.
