Responsibilities
What we’re looking for :
To develop and manage the Regional Shoprite strategic account plan, ensuring the delivery of budgeted volume and profit.Working with customers to develop an effective Joint Business plan whilst leading, developing and aligning Regional Operational team to ensure execution excellence of Account Plans within strategic Customers.Ensure business metrics are achieved through negotiation and delivery of regional elements of joint business planDrive service levels with incremental improvements by working closely with the customer and supply chain teams to include collaborative forecastsTailored promotional strategy delivered in line with customer expectations and Pepsico frameworkDeliver Account ‘Must Win Battles’ through Account PlansExecute P.I .effectivelyExecute pricing strategy in accounts and execute pack / price architecture changes in line with Finance & NRMEffectively trade at Store levelGrow share, range and distribution in line with specific account targetsDevelop regional customer relationshipsManage trade-offs within customers for the greater benefit of PepsicoImprove Advantage Group Survey results in account baseCreate a deep understanding of what is needed to execute account plans at regional and store level. Work closely with ASM OT and RSOM to ensure this happens.Promotional calendars updated weekly across customer base with focus on optimized grids when negotiatingAccruals for cash and retro spend to be loaded timeously as well as coding of customer claimsRanging to be updated and checked weekly with customers to ensure top must stock lines are ranged where applicable, in conjunction with Category managementForecasting to be concluded with Demand Planning bi-weekly and promo updates, amended in forecastNPD listings to be negotiated timeously with Regional BuyersManaging of regional cash and retro budgets – monthly reviews of spend to be presented and budgets updated to track YTD spend vs BudgetNegotiating and loading of regional / national deals to be completed on relevant PepsiCo system, timeouslyPricing claims to be resolved as per audit and control timelinesQualifications
What will qualify you for the role :
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business or MarketingMinimum 6 years relevant experience in FMCGStrong financial acumen and basic understanding of accounting to manage a PnLStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven Commercial AcumenStrategic abilityStrong analytical skillsFunctional ExcellenceSales / Retail / Business Development jobs
