Recruit participants in the general medicine wardsEnsure that screening, consenting and enrolment of participants take place in line with project protocolPre and post-test HIV counselling of PLWH if requiredSpecimen collections and storage as per protocol and ensure lab request forms are adequately completed and chain of custody documents filledCheck vital signs on all participants and record vital signs and observations of participant in the source document / Case Report FormConduct Phlebotomy according to protocol (study specific)Complete Case Referral Form at the time of participant visit for each participant visit as per CRF guidelinesTrack all consented and get outcome of admission and track all “lost to follow ups” participants by means of telephone, or home visitEnsure that Case Referral Forms are filed in participant files daily basis and data is captured on databaseRespond to queries generated within acceptable time frameCall participants who have abnormal test results and arrange for visitEducate participants regarding project aims and informationEnsure Petty Cash management as per internal policy from collection, dispensing, completion of forms, reconciling and return of unused cash and obtaining signatures for requisition formsMust be able to work independentlyLiaise with Study Coordinator and PIRequired minimum education and training :
MatricQualified as an Enrolled NurseValid Driver’s License with PDPRequired minimum work experience :
