The Service Technician is responsible for providing customer service and maintenance functions to Loram customers within a specific region. Maintaining unit uptime to customer expectations is critical to customer satisfaction, railroad fuel economy, and railroad’s wheel / rail life.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses / Certifications : Maintain railroad safety training and certifications; Ability to obtain a CDL.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical.
Experience : 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role; 2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills.

COMPENSATION
Starting pay for the position is between $21.00 - $24.00 per hour. Loram determines compensation based on skills, competencies, education, and / or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
