Job description

Minimum requirements :

  • Trade-tested Electrician or Millwright (electrical bias)
  • 23 years industrial maintenance experience in FMCG (food or related products preferred)
  • Exposure to manufacturing machinery and fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain electrical wiring, motors, drives, and control panels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults (e.g., wiring, sensors, relays, fuses, VSDs).
  • Support installation of new equipment (wiring, sensor setup, motor connections).
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components.
  • Use diagnostic tools (multimeter, clamp meter) to isolate faults.
  • Liaise with automation contractors for PLC-related support.
  • Follow safe electrical practices and Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

    • Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong industrial electrical skills : wiring, panels, and motor controls.
  • Familiar with sensors, switches, relays, and VSDs.
  • Fault-finding ability in fast-moving production environments.
  • Willingness to learn basic PLC input / output checks.
  • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
