Zoho Administrator & Technical Consultant (BAE)

Job Description

Role Overview

Boomerang is seeking a skilled Zoho Administrator & Technical Consultant to own the day-to-day administration, optimization, and enhancement of Boomerang’s Zoho ecosystem.

This role is responsible for ensuring that Zoho platforms support Boomerang’s operational efficiency, talent lifecycle, customer engagement, and digital transformation objectives, while also leading Zoho-related projects and AI enablement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Zoho Platform Administration

• Administer and support Boomerang’s Zoho applications, including:
  
• Zoho People
  
• Zoho Recruit
  
• Zoho CRM
  
• Zoho Desk
  
• Zoho Cliq
  
• Manage users, roles, permissions, workflows, automations, and integrations.
  
• Ensure system availability, data integrity, and performance across all Zoho platforms.
  
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for internal users.
  

2. Zoho Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Analyse existing Zoho configurations and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  
• Design and implement enhancements to:
  
• HR processes in Zoho People
  
• Recruitment workflows in Zoho Recruit
  
• Sales, customer, and operational processes in Zoho CRM
  
• Maintain and evolve workflows, blueprints, custom fields, and reports.
  
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and best practices.
  

3. Zoho Project Delivery

• Lead and support Zoho-related projects, including:
  
• Enhancements to existing Zoho platforms
  
• Implementation of new Zoho products as required
  
• Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements.
  
• Produce system design documentation, configuration specifications, and test plans.
  
• Coordinate testing, deployment, and user adoption activities.
  

4. Zoho AI, Bots & Automation

• Implement and enhance Zoho AI capabilities, including:
  
• Internal bots (e.g. HR, IT, operational support bots)
  
• External bots integrated into the Boomerang website
  
• Configure AI-driven features such as:
  
• Intelligent recommendations
  
• Automation triggers
  
• Conversational interfaces
  
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through AI and automation.
  

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement

• Work closely with HR, Recruitment, Operations, Sales, and IT stakeholders.
  
• Translate business needs into effective Zoho solutions.
  
• Support user training, documentation, and change management.
  
• Act as a trusted Zoho subject-matter expert within Boomerang.
  

• Formal qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience administering and configuring Zoho applications.
  
• Hands-on experience with Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, Zoho CRM, and Zoho Desk.
  
• Strong expertise in:
  
• Requirements gathering and documentation
  
• System and solution design
  
• Zoho configuration and customisation
  
• Experience delivering Zoho enhancements or implementation projects.
  

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Zoho certifications and/or formal Zoho training.
  
• Experience with Zoho AI, bots, or automation tools.
  
• Exposure to HR systems, recruitment platforms, CRM, or service desk environments.
  
• Experience working in a BPO or services organisation.
  
• Knowledge of integrations and APIs within the Zoho ecosystem.
