Salary : R50,000 - R60,000 per month (depending on experience)

Our client manufactures and distributes a wide range of products to some of the country's largest retail chains. Their operations are central to a dynamic and high-volume supply chain, making them a key player in the industry.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Management Accountant to join our client's finance team. This is a critical role that will not only manage day-to-day financial operations but also provide strategic insights to drive business performance and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FMCG sector and be ready to take on a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a small team of clerks, including a Creditor's Clerk, two Debtor's Clerks, and two Invoice Clerks.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on business performance.
• Assist in strategic decision-making by analyzing financial data and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee and participate in periodic stock takes.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and systems.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial policies and procedures are followed.
