Overview
The Pricing Assistant Manager plays a critical role in shaping commercial pricing strategies for B2B engagements. This position supports the Finance department by preparing accurate and strategic pricing schedules for RFPs / RFQs, ensuring alignment with business goals, margin targets, and risk parameters. The role demands strong analytical acumen, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement capabilities to drive pricing excellence across the organization.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience / Key Competencies
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or MBA in Finance
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience, with at least 3–5 years in a relevant role, specifically in B2B commercial pricing
- Strong process orientation with a commitment to process excellence
- Experience in client management and understanding of KPIs and SLAs
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Familiarity with automation tools and quality improvement initiatives
- Strong track record of engaging senior stakeholders and thriving in high-pressure environments

Preparation of commercial pricing schedules for RFP / RFQEnsuring that commercials are in accordance with business goals, policies, margin targets etc.Identify ways to use technology and end to end process improvement to simplify and streamline pricing activity for faster, accurate turnarounds.Identify risks and opportunities in solutions and ensure appropriate levels of risk are priced into dealsWork closely and challenge sales / pre‑sales team on business requirements and metricsDeep understanding of Profit and Loss accounting including Direct Costs and OverheadsMaintain and upkeep a master pricing database on all deals including all key metricsBusiness partner and support other operational areas like the Sales and Account Management TeamsMaintain and update the different pricing model templates and calculatorsProvide forecast updates on new deals for 3-6 months post go‑live including analysis, month‑end insight and any appropriate accounting treatments.Ad‑hoc analysis and dashboards according to the business requirement or senior managementCalculation, governance and tracking of commissions payments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
