Junior Systems Engineer

Overview

Experience in the design, development, and implementation of information systems and networks. Experience with information systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Good project management skills. Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required. Mastery of M365 with entry-level skills in Azure Cloud Computing, VMWare, and Veeam. An understanding of M365 Mail Exchange Online and Mimecast securing email systems for email spam filtering will be beneficial. An understanding of Device Management tools such as Intune, AutoPilot, and SCCM. Experience in identifying vulnerabilities and configuring systems to enhance endpoint security posture. Knowledge of coding languages for scripting will be advantageous (e.g. Powershell).

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and implementation of information systems and networks.
• Apply information systems planning, security principles, and software management best practices.
• Assist with data privacy practices and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate good project management skills and ability to conduct product / system research as required.
• Utilize M365 with growing experience in Azure Cloud Computing, VMware, and Veeam; support Exchange Online and Mimecast email security; assess spam filtering needs.
• Work with Device Management tools such as Intune, AutoPilot, and SCCM.
• Identify vulnerabilities and configure systems to enhance endpoint security posture.
• Gain experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to support automation and tooling.
