System Architect

Location & Role Overview

Information Technology / Telecommunications South Africa – Gauteng, Johannesburg – North (Sandton / Midrand / Diepsloot). Our client is looking for a System Architect to create and develop on‑going business relationships with clients.

Key Requirements

• Experience in the Electric Utilities Transmission industry
• BSC in Engineering or equivalent
• Expert knowledge in Windows domain design, configuration and administration
• Network and database design
• Proficient in SCADA communications, including DNP3, IRC and Modbus
• Prior experience with network troubleshooting tools including Wireshark and Fiddler
• Successful sales experience, preferably in enterprise solution selling products and professional services
• Strong knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things) and Microsoft Desktop, embedded and network environments
