Job Description
An established oil and lubricant company are seeking a Sales Representative to join their dynamic team in the Vaal Area, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be an operational leader responsible for driving sales growth, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will be supported by a full administrative and logistical team, and comprehensive product and sales training will be provided.Responsibilities :
Achieve and exceed sales targets through repeat customer visits and relationship managementCommunicate with customers regarding pricing, products, promotions, stock issues, and other relevant informationResolve customer complaints, investigate issues, develop solutions, and report findings to managementDesign and implement strategic business plans to expand the customer baseMonitor and report on sales performance against KPIs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annuallyIdentify and develop promotion and advertising opportunities to ensure a suitable ROIOptimize sales processes to improve customer satisfaction and productivityMaintain company assets and service delivery standardsCanvass existing and potential customers through sales routes, calling cycles, and appointmentsProvide updated product information, price lists, and special offersManage and influence stakeholder relationships to drive growthDemonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledgeIdentify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitor activityRequirements :
Minimum 2+ years’ sales experienceDriver’s License (Code 8) and own reliable transportStrong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsProven ability to plan, organize, and manage sales operationsComputer literacy and business acumenMentoring, coaching, and people management experienceExperience in the Oil & Lubricants industry advantageousSales / Retail / Business Development jobs
