Job Description

  • An established oil and lubricant company are seeking a Sales Representative to join their dynamic team in the Vaal Area, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be an operational leader responsible for driving sales growth, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will be supported by a full administrative and logistical team, and comprehensive product and sales training will be provided.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through repeat customer visits and relationship management
  • Communicate with customers regarding pricing, products, promotions, stock issues, and other relevant information
  • Resolve customer complaints, investigate issues, develop solutions, and report findings to management
  • Design and implement strategic business plans to expand the customer base
  • Monitor and report on sales performance against KPIs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Identify and develop promotion and advertising opportunities to ensure a suitable ROI
  • Optimize sales processes to improve customer satisfaction and productivity
  • Maintain company assets and service delivery standards
  • Canvass existing and potential customers through sales routes, calling cycles, and appointments
  • Provide updated product information, price lists, and special offers
  • Manage and influence stakeholder relationships to drive growth
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge
  • Identify emerging markets, market shifts, and competitor activity
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum 2+ years’ sales experience
  • Driver’s License (Code 8) and own reliable transport
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage sales operations
  • Computer literacy and business acumen
  • Mentoring, coaching, and people management experience
  • Experience in the Oil & Lubricants industry advantageous
