Sales Representative – FMCG (Food Services Industry)

Our client a leading Distributor and Supplier to the Foodservice Industry is urgently looking to employ a Sales Representative for their Gauteng branch based in the Westrand. Area to cover: Sandton and East Rand. Experience in the Food Service Industry calling on restaurants, hotels, canteens etc. (Foodservice) is essential.

• Basic R15 000.00 to R20 000 (Once settled commission only)
• Car Allowance: 00
• Petrol card
• Cell phone Allowance: R750.00
• Call on the Sandton and East Rand region.
• Preferably English (or Bilingual)
• Candidate must have their own reliable transport – Tracker will be installed at company’s expense

SKILLS:

• Grade 12
• Literate in English and Afrikaans
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years Sales Rep experience (Must have called on Restaurants, Hotels, Canteen, Old age homes etc.)
• Problem solver

• Well-groomed and presentable extrovert
• Self-motivated, organised and responsible (stable work history)
• Target driven and proactive
• Must be able to work independently and be punctual
• To work closely with an internal Telesales agent / Trader across entire range of products, which include (but not limited to) Fresh & Frozen Fish, Chicken, Bacon, Dairy, etc.
• Complete weekly call cycles
• Grow and maintain a customer/client database by building sound relationships
• Continuously seek new opportunities
• Resolve all customer queries promptly and professionally
• Drive orders and awareness on all product lines where applicable
• Receive and process orders with relevant parties
• Meet monthly sales targets
• Attend meetings when required
