Junior Investment Analyst

Our finance recruitment desk is currently recruiting for a Junior Investment Analyst. Our client is a niche credit provider with a focus on property secured and development finance in the major metropoles of South Africa.

Location : Cape Town, Southern Suburbs

The ideal candidate has a proven track record contributing to the success of a credit / deal making team focussing on Commercial Property / Residential Development transactions. The candidate should be familiar with the various stakeholders involved in a Property / Development Finance transaction.

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Property Studies, or related field.
• 2-3 years industry experience in unlisted credit / lending industry, preferably in corporate finance / commercial property finance / SME environment or a development finance institution.
• Exposure to Commercial Property Finance Transactions and / or Development Feasibility studied & modelling advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Basic understanding of property development finance principles.
