A well-established renewable energy company requires a buyer to procure electronics.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis to ensure timeous delivery of ordered stock.
• Implement, monitor, and update procurement programme / schedule.
• Report on the coordination of stock deliveries to management teams.
• Record and manage tender enquiries and quotations.
• Manage all supplier-related issues, including payment terms and delivery.
• Issue purchase orders.
• Manage stock levels to ensure optimal inventory.
• Build stock models using sales data over periods.
• Work with sales to forecast demand and meet orders in a timely manner.
• Analyze and implement procurement processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and reduce costs.
• Manage and control inventory to minimize the risk of obsolete stock.
• Liaise with freight forwarders for clearing and costings of freight.
• Facilitate stock takes.
• Add new products and maintain items on the IT system.
• Work closely with suppliers conducting analysis of demand / supply.
