Event Marketing Coordinator
Location : Remote
Schedule : Fulltime (Some overlap with EST working hours)
About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate and execute marketing events, trade shows, and webinars for a leading digital experience platform. The role involves planning and logistics management, lead tracking using Salesforce, and performance analysis of events to drive marketing success. The position also includes managing the company’s year-round event program, focusing on third-party trade shows and ensuring a consistent, proactive approach to event execution.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution :
- Organize and manage a comprehensive schedule of trade shows, events, and webinars, with a focus on year-round event program management (Q1, Q3, Q4 prioritized).
- Oversee event logistics, including registration, booth setup, attendee sign-ups, and on-site requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and venues to ensure timely preparation and shipping of booth materials and promotional items.
- Manage tasks such as electrical needs, shipping arrangements, and booth setup for events.
- Arrange travel for team members attending events.
- Monitor and maintain budgets for each event, recommending cost-effective resource allocations.
- Prepare and distribute pre-event overviews for team members, including key clients and essential event details.
- Report event status, progress, and questions to stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent brand promotion and presence at events.
Lead Management and Salesforce :
Collect attendee lists and manage event leads.Import, segment, and manage leads within Salesforce CRM for targeted pre- and post-event campaigns.Track event ROI, manage campaigns, and attribute event-related activities using Salesforce.Maintain data integrity by accurately inputting and updating lead information in Salesforce.Data Analysis and Reporting :
Analyze event data to assess performance and inform future strategies.Provide post-event reports with key insights, areas for improvement, and ROI metrics.Reconcile expenses and calculate event ROI.Qualifications
Experience :
Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a B2B or tech environment.Proficiency in Salesforce, including campaign management and lead tracking.Skills :
Proactive approach and ability to work independently with minimal direction.Strong organizational and project management abilities, with experience managing multiple events simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.Additional Qualifications :
Ability to work asynchronously with some EST overlap.Experience working remotely and coordinating with distributed teams.Familiarity with the lumber and building materials industry is a plus.Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Preferred candidates from Latin America for time zone alignment.Event Details
