Parts Sales Person

Job Position : Parts Salesperson automotive industry

Qualifications / Requirements : Minimum of Matric Computer literate Parts sales experience in the automotive / motor dealership industry

Key Performance Areas :

Conduct transactions with body shop clients

Prepare pricing once quote is received from clients

Receive order numbers from clients

Ensure that clients are authorised and that correct signatures are received

Supply the correct parts from stock Arrange delivery to client promptly

Ensure that all the correct documentation and paperwork is correctly processed within the system

Ensure that all payments are received and follow up on any outstanding payments

Sell parts to over the counter clients

Conduct transactions with over the counter clients

Process sale or parts as per dealer standard

Supply the correct parts from stock

Receive payment from clients and ensure that payments, cash and cheques are dealt with as per the company process

Order parts for clients where there is no stock

Ensure that all the correct documentation and paperwork is correctly processed both manually and on the system

Ensure client satisfaction

Treat the customers in such a way that there are no customer complaints

Keep the customers up to date with the status of their orders Ensure that the agreed CSI targets are met

Report any unresolved customer complaints to the Parts Manager
