Job descriptionSupervise a team of technicians and electricians in the maintenance and operation of generators and transformers Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for generators and transformers Monitor the performance of generators and transformers and troubleshoot any issues that may arise Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repairs Conduct regular inspections of generators and transformers to identify any potential problems and address them in a timely manner Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance and repair activities Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs and maintenance reports Train and mentor new technicians and electricians on proper maintenance and operation procedures for generators and transformers Communicate effectively with property managers and other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of generators and transformers Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in generator and transformer technology to make recommendations for improvements to systems
Our client is seeking a Generator and Transformer Supervisor to join their team, based in Centurion.

Minimum Requirements : -
- Technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and operation of generators and transformers
- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency situations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
