Risk Analyst : Petrochemical (Cape Town)

Our client in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team. You will be responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating risks associated with the petroleum operations collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that ensure the safety of our workforce protect the environment and safeguard company assets etc.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Must have :

• Bachelors degree in Finance / Auditing / Economics / BCom or related field.
• Advantageous (CA(SA) / Certificate in Risk Management).
• Have at least 2 years Audit Risk or Compliance experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proven experience in risk management preferably within the petroleum industry or a related sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to health safety environment and operational risk management.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies statistical analysis and risk modelling techniques.
