Overview

Automation Test Engineer / SDET (Financial Services) Join our client in the Financial Services sector and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional, high-quality solutions and driving innovation.

This role is central to quality assurance, requiring a strong mix of technical development skills and deep domain knowledge.

Contract

This is a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test assets using the automation framework and pre‑defined test tools.
• Architectural quality : quality‑assure the solution and its architecture to ensure overall integrity and stability.
• Testing scope : perform comprehensive automated testing, including functional, regression, and integration tests across front‑end and API layers.
• Continuous improvement : participate in Agile ceremonies, work closely with developers and stakeholders to define testing requirements, manage tasks, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Defect management : report and manage defects efficiently using JIRA and document all test results accurately.

Tooling

Develop, implement, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium (for mobile / multi‑platform testing), Healenium (for self‑healing capabilities), RestAssured (for API testing), and JMeter (for performance testing).
