Job description2+ years PHP experience 2+ years Laravel 2+ years VueJS 1+ year PostgreSQL 1+ year Docker (for local dev environments) 2+ years using Git for source control JetBrains PhpStorm experience Exposure to Agile working practices (e.g., standups, ticket-based workflows) Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, etc) Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal English Comfortable working independently in a remote-first setup
ENVIRONMENT
A Cape Town-based IT & Services company is seeking an Intermediate Full-Stack Developer to join their distributed product team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Laravel and VueJS, supported by a strong PHP background. They value professionals who thrive in asynchronous environments and take a proactive approach to their work.
DUTIES
- Develop and maintain features in Laravel and VueJS
- Follow documented tickets and technical specs
- Communicate clearly in written form with teammates
- Use Git and Docker as part of your regular workflow
- Participate in team calls and async reviews
