Overview
We are looking for a System Integrator to join the engineering team. The incumbent will be programming PLC and SCADA for new projects and supporting O&M team on existing PLC programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a functional description specification from control philosophy and detailed design of the approved solution for the client to ensure the effective development.
- Design system architecture for software implementations.
- Design and configure industrial communication networks for software implementations (ethernet, fibre, Profinet, etc.).
- Design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs according to approved functional description specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Design, develop, test, and implement SCADA and / or HMI applications according to functional description specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Develop simulation applications for testing and training purposes.
- Develop QCP documentation for factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing.
- Perform factory acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
- Implement the complete solution at the client and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Perform site acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
- Provide training and assistance to the internal and external client, to ensure that the client can use the system within the design constraints.
- Provide post-project system support for the client as and when required.
- Design and configuration servers and historians.
- Knowledge of IoT and architecture.
- Able in configuring VSDs and instrumentation.
- Able in reading electrical schematics.
- Support O&M remotely and traveling to site for troubleshooting.
Academic Qualifications, Permits / Licences, Registrations
Degree in Computer & Electrical Engineering (NDiploma / B.Tech or B.Eng).Valid driver’s license.Experience
Experience of 3-5 years in programming PLC and SCADA.Advanced knowledge in Siemens software and programming S7.Advanced knowledge in SCADA configuration (Ignition, Adroit, Wonderware and WinCC).Advanced knowledge in Network configuration.Willingness to travel locally and internationally.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Advanced MS Office skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.AutoCAD.Behavioural Competencies
