Experience :

  • 5+ years in financial management or senior accounting roles.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, financial modeling, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP / MRP systems, project-based funding, and HR functions (payroll, onboarding, performance reviews).Knowledge of international trade logistics (e.g., EUR1 certificates, customs declarations) is highly desirable.
  • Systems & Tools :

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred) and payroll systems (e.g., SimplePay).
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain policies, controls, and processes aligned with best practices.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and cash flow to ensure stability.
  • Oversee daily accounting tasks (debtors, creditors, inventory, reconciliations, payments).
  • Support fundraising efforts and deliver accurate investor and board reports.
  • Ensure tax and statutory compliance, liaising with auditors and financial institutions.
  • Analyze costs, optimize profitability, and support pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate HR functions, including payroll, employee records, recruitment logistics, and performance reviews.
  • Implement inventory and Material Resource Planning systems.
  • Track project costs and ensure timely, quality project execution.
