HR Officer – Sandton
Salary : R40 000 CTC per month
MUST HAVE AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE
We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in Sandton. The role requires a skilled HR professional with strong operational expertise, payroll knowledge, and the ability to drive employee engagement, compliance, and productivity within a fast-paced, multi-franchise environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in HR or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ HR operational experience
- Payroll expertise on SAGE
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel (automotive systems advantageous)
- Proven track record in talent engagement, compliance, and HR administration
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding : Manage recruitment, job descriptions, salary benchmarking, interviews, and employee onboarding.Performance Management : Develop KPIs, monitor performance, conduct reviews, and manage underperformance.Payroll Management : Oversee payroll input, verification, reporting, statutory compliance, and MIBCO submissions.Employee Welfare : Coordinate wellness initiatives, events, and staff recognition programmes.Labour Relations : Manage disciplinary processes, absenteeism, and labour law compliance.Business Productivity & Compliance : Support operations, ensure HR systems efficiency, legislative compliance (BCEA, LRA, MIBCO), and drive policies and reporting (BBBEE, Employment Equity, Skills Development).OHS & Statutory Duties : Ensure health and safety compliance and run required committees.HR Administration : Maintain accurate employee records, policies, and procedures.Skills & Attributes
