Job descriptionMinimum 7 years' experience in the meat industry. Qualified and experience as a block man. Experience as a production manager for 5 or more years in a similar role. Computer literate with knowledge of recipes and block tests utilizing software. Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is important as well. Own transport. Code B license.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for all meat processing in high through put meat butchery and deli.
- Should manage block men under his care as well as processing and packaging of meat.
- Planning of meat orders and processing.
- Stock management and waste minimization.
