Job descriptionQualified artisan with five years of previous heavy equipment experience is a requirement. Excellent mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of the following systems : engine, power train, hydraulics and electrical. Must have a code B drivers licence, code EC licence will be an advantage.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to :
- Maintain and repair a fleet of earthmoving equipment
- Complete inspections
- Removal and installation of parts
- General maintenance and rebuild of equipment
- Basic diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Testing
- General repairs
Required Skills and Qualifications :
It would be expected of the successful candidate to assume duties throughout the Western Cape.
