Assistant manager- Spares and Services

We’re seeking a technically skilled and operationally savvy individual to step into the role of Assistant Manager – Spares and Services. This position supports the Manager of Spares and Services in overseeing the refurbishment, repair, and enhancement of critical equipment components. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on engineering experience, strong administrative capabilities, and a deep understanding of steel manufacturing.

• ? Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day support to the Manager – Spares and Services
• Coordinate and control :
• Equipment refurbishments
• Vibrator motor repairs and enhancements
• Geared exciter repairs
• Motor drive assemblies
• Manage logistics : synchronize collections and deliveries with freight contractors
• Expedite production of active manufactured spare components
• Offer technical support to internal sales teams
• Draft technical reports and client communications with precision and clarity
• ? Ideal Candidate Profile
• Qualified artisan (Boiler Maker / Fitter)
• Has transitioned from workshop to office-based responsibilities
• Brings a blend of hands-on experience and administrative competence
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
