Overview

Job Title : Chief of Staff

Work Hours : 9 am to 5 pm U.S. time zone

Location : Remote Latin America or South Africa

About the Client

Independent management consultant operating multiple concurrent business and research-based initiatives. The environment is fast-moving and entrepreneurial requiring a strategic partner who can manage multiple workstreams with autonomy and precision.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the client supporting both consulting engagements and side ventures.

This role demands a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical organizational and communication skills someone who can anticipate needs manage diverse projects and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for the consulting business including scheduling communication and task coordination.
  • Manage and track deliverables across multiple side projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct online research and data gathering to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Clean organize and analyze data using Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Identify and implement new productivity tools or systems to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Support reporting and documentation needs as required.

Skills & Qualifications

Hard Skills Required

  • Advanced Excel and data organization capabilities.
  • Strong research analysis and information synthesis skills.
  • Familiarity with workflow and productivity tools (e.g. Notion ClickUp Airtable or similar).
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset thrives in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
  • Independent and resourceful able to manage multiple priorities without close supervision.

  • Based in Latin America or South Africa for cultural fit time zone overlap and communication style.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with executive-level stakeholders or founders in dynamic multi-project settings.

    The ideal candidate will anticipate needs take initiative and deliver results without micromanagement acting as a true right-hand partner capable of switching between tactical execution and strategic thinking.
