Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping reconciliations and supplier payments
Prepare and submit EMP201 EMP501 and VAT returns accurately and on time
Generate client statements invoices and payment reminders
Manage creditors debtors and petty cash
Maintain accurate records and support management with monthly reporting
Liaise with external accountants and management regarding financial queries
Ensure compliance with SARS and statutory deadlines
Implement and maintain practical systems to keep financial admin running smoothly
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 5 years bookkeeping or accounting experience (construction or service industry preferred)
Solid knowledge of SARS submissions VAT and payroll processing
Proficient in insert your accounting software e.g. Sage QuickBooks or Zoho Books
Strong Excel and communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Proven track record of reliability and meeting deadlines
