Junior Sites Supervisor - Security

All candidates must be able to work long flexible hours and shifts and reside within the immediate Pretoria geographical area.

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 Senior Certificate

Must be able to search males

Clear Criminal Record

Valid PSIRA Grade B registration and accreditation

Valid drivers license / Own reliable vehicle

Must be fluent in Afrikaans & English

Must be fully Computer literate

At least 5 years experience in the security industry

3-5 years previous supervisory experience

First aid, firefighting, health and safety training

Knowledge of security industry regulations including operational and client requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To be responsible for a profitable & professional Security environment
2. Maintain high operational standards
3. Controlling all assets and equipment entrusted to the position
4. Enforcing company policies and procedures
5. Professional client contact and problem-solving skills
6. Managing all site personnel & training/evaluation of staff
7. Effective & efficient Rostering of site staff, time keeping and recording of time sheets
8. Ensuring staff turn are kept to a minimal
9. Communicating in a professional manner
10. Safety, complying with all regulations of the OHSA
11. Quality Management skills & Taking initiative
12. Portraying a participative management style
13. Ensure effective and efficient day-to-day management of Sites Security personnel and conducting risk analysis surveys and inspections.
