Junior Operations Estimator (Freight Forwarding)

SUMMARY : POSITION INFO :

Hiring : Junior operations Estimator (Kempton Park) - The candidate must have a proven track record within the Clearing & Forwarding industry.

Responsibilities :

• Quoting and costing
• Compiling sea freight and airfreight import and export estimates for international agents.
• Ensure that estimate request turnaround times are as efficient as possible.
• Ensure that the rates supplied by agents and service providers are market related and wherever possible are preferential.
• Attend to all queries arising from the estimates received and provided and rates received from service providers.
• Negotiate rates with all service providers in the freight and logistics industry.
• Build relationships with service providers and international agents.
