About the Role

A Stores Controller is primarily responsible for managing inventory and ensuring efficient operations within a company's storage facilities.

This includes overseeing stock levels, coordinating shipments and dispatches, maintaining accurate records, and implementing inventory control procedures.

They assist in daily operations by overseeing staff, training new employees, managing inventory levels, ensuring customer service standards are met, and assisting with overall store organization and goals.

Key Responsibilities

Incoming Goods (Including bought out items)

• Count, check and store all incoming goods against delivery notes in the correct area until required for use.
• Contact QC for receiving inspection of goods requiring inspection against a technical specification.
• Ensuring that GRN is done in timeously manner and in line with procedure and timeline.
• Ensuring that stock is in the correct storage location on SAP system.
