The Opportunity

We are looking for a sharp, tech‑savvy Account Manager / Marketing Strategist based in South Africa to join our remote team. This front‑of‑house, client‑facing role demands charisma and strong speaking skills to represent our agency. It is ideal for someone currently working as a Digital Marketing Specialist in B2B tech and looking to grow into a Director or full Marketing Strategist position.

You’ll own the client relationship from end to end : driving marketing strategy, coordinating execution, and ensuring every campaign aligns with measurable business goals. Systems thinking and MarTech expertise are essential – you’ll need to understand how outbound emailing tools, LinkedIn tools, and CRMs (e.g., HubSpot) interconnect and build integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Strategy & Execution : Serve as the main contact, lead quarterly strategy sessions, translate business goals into structured marketing plans, and provide proactive strategic recommendations.
  • Project & Resource Management : Oversee campaign execution, manage deliverables, timelines, and approvals, monitor hours or point usage, and continuously improve internal workflows.
  • Performance & Optimization : Analyze results, identify opportunities for optimization, maintain quality standards, monitor client satisfaction, and collaborate on upsell opportunities and client retention.

Ideal Profile

  • Communication : Native‑level English proficiency; strong charisma and speaking skills.
  • Background : B2B experience, preferably within B2B tech (SaaS) and technical products.
  • Experience & Tenure : Equivalent to a Digital Marketing Specialist or Marketing Strategist with good tenure.
  • System Fluency : Ability to understand and build integrations between MarTech tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zapier, outbound tools). Adaptability to fast‑changing tools.
  • Attitude : Scrappy, highly committed, and motivated by growth and measurable impact on client success.

    Clients consistently hitting agreed‑upon goals and KPIs, projects delivered within budgeted hours or points, and high client satisfaction and retention rates. Strong collaboration with internal teams ensures smooth operations.
