Job description

Overview

Administration Assistant role supporting the Home Manager with reception, administrative and basic finance activities to ensure the Home runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries and will demonstrate a professional and welcoming manner to everyone who visits, lives or works in our homes. You will ensure visitors follow infection control rules in force at any given time and take the lead on coordinating testing requirements, organizing couriers and related administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reception duties and general administrative support to the Home Manager.
  • Handle basic finance tasks as required.
  • Be the first point of contact for enquiries; maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure visitors follow current infection control rules.
  • Coordinate testing requirements and manage related administrative tasks.
  • Organise couriers and associated logistics.
  • Assist with planning and management of home events (e.g., residents’ milestone birthdays, fetes, employee presentations) with the Activities Coordinator.
  • Support a safe, warm and kind environment for residents and staff.
