Assistant Merchandiser

Location : Kew, Johannesburg Salary : R12 000 – R15 000 (based on experience & qualifications)

An exciting opportunity is available at a growing Johannesburg-based company that has recently launched its own apparel range!

Key Requirements :

Degree / Diploma in Fashion or Clothing Management

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw (or similar design software)

Strong knowledge of patterns, grading, fabrics, garment construction & branding

Experience in product development, negotiation & apparel sourcing Responsibilities :

Research & source products

Assist with range selection & idea development

Prepare spec sheets & CAD specifications

Liaise with suppliers, request quotes & follow up

Support with admin, pricelists & costing sheets

Maintain supplier communications

Review products & conduct quality checks
