Floor Manager

SUMMARY

The Floor Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all manufacturing and engineering activities on the production floor. The role ensures that work is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards, while effectively supervising staff, monitoring workflow, and supporting continuous improvement in line with operational goals. The Floor Manager must have the ability to analyze drawings for production purposes.

POSITION INFO

Minimum requirements :

• Grade 12 (Matric) required
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory / management role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, engineering practices, and safety standards
• Experience with CNC machines, fabrication, or mechanical assembly will be an advantage
