Data Architect | Consulting

We’re looking for a hands‑on Data Architect who combines strong technical capability with consulting experience. This role blends lead-level data engineering with solution architecture and client engagement, requiring you to design and build scalable solutions while working directly with clients – both in South Africa and internationally.

You’ll actively contribute to the full project lifecycle, from early‑stage scoping and pre‑sales through to delivery and post‑implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement scalable data architecture solutions using the Microsoft data stack (Azure, Fabric, Power BI)
• Lead development of data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high‑quality implementations
• Engage in pre‑sales discussions, helping to shape solution designs and produce effort estimates
• Translate complex business needs into clear, scalable data solutions
• Support project delivery teams and mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical leadership
• Document architecture, processes, and decisions clearly for stakeholders at all levels
