Lead, coach, and manage the Sales and Account Management team to drive new business, strengthen client relationships, and grow revenue within the commercial hygiene and hospitality sector.
Contract-to-Permanent. This position is initially offered on a 3-month contract basis. Successful performance during probation will result in permanent employment.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Post-matric qualification in sales or management
- 8 years+ of proven experience in sales/account management within commercial cleaning/hygiene solutions, preferably within hospitality
- Previous experience managing or leading a sales or account management team
- Strong understanding of service-based sales environments with recurring client contracts
- Experience servicing hospitality, food service, catering, or commercial kitchen environments advantageous
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
Key Performance Areas:
- Lead and manage a team of Account Managers
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve team and individual targets
- Monitor, track, and analyse sales performance
- Conduct regular joint field visits to support team members in client meetings and ensure service standards are upheld
- Resolve escalated client issues and maintain strong customer relationships
- Compile and present sales performance reports to senior management
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Identify new market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities to upsell or cross-sell within existing accounts
