Overview

Our esteemed client in Sandton is urgently seeking a highly driven Senior Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. The position is more outbound than telephonic and requires candidates who already have their own network of merchants. They are deliberate about who joins the team because they believe A-Team players want to work with A-Team players. They are looking for a young, dynamic, and ambitious individual who will focus 100% on funding and growing SMEs. The successful candidate will be responsible for self-sourcing leads in the market, structuring deals, and closing opportunities through their professional network. Support will be provided by the Head of Sales and Marketing to guide client acquisition strategies, along with access to the Sales Development function for additional cold calling when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong communication and negotiation skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ambition to make a real impact in empowering and growing SMEs while working in a high-performance, rewarding environment.

Your focus will be 100% on funding and growing SMEs – primarily Retail, Wholesale and Manufacturing business owners who are busy and need working capital with quick turnarounds .

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Business Management Diploma or Degree or similar (advantageous).
  • 5(+) years’ relevant work experience in a sales environment.
  • Financial and mathematical understanding.
  • They live by a system of Meritocracy
  • Maintain disciplined use of the CRM system, ensuring your pipeline is accurately documented and up to date to provide full visibility for both yourself and the wider business.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and prospects on a continuous basis to maximize sales
