Accountant Required (SAIPA) – Plettenberg Bay

Duties : Completion of Compilations and accounting work Compilation of Financial Statements Day to day processing of transactions, invoices etc, on Xero Accounting Plan jobs with reference to year ends and deadlines Requesting of information from clients Implementing financial controls on all assets, income streams and expenses Preparation of management accounts Processing and calculation of month end journals All processing of the books up to Trial Balance & Balance Sheet Full Xero functions, including : Management accounts Balancing of creditors, Bank accounts etc. Capturing salaries E-Filing submissions : VAT201 EMP201 EMP501 IT Requirements : B.Com or B.Compt degree in Financial Accounting Completed SAIPA Articles at a reputable firm Must have passed the board exam Must be proficient in Xero, CaseWare, and E-Filing accounting software Must be fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans) Must have the ability to work well as part of a team Good time management Good problem solving and delegation skills Strong communication skills Must have the ability to work under pressure Must have contactable references
