Minimum Qualification : Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
Preferred Qualification : HR Certificate / Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (NQF Level 05 / 06)
Experience
Minimum Experience : 1 to 2 years’ proven experience in an administrative and people focused environment.
Outputs and responsibilities
- Key Performance Indicators : Learning and Development; Culture & Transformation; HRIS; Compliance and Benefits; Employee Experience; Accurate employee data maintenance.
- Filing : Ensure filing is up to date and accurate daily.
- Recruitment & Selection Support : Assist HR generalist to fill vacancies within 30 days of MRQ; post adverts, shortlist, set up interviews, assessments and reference checks as per policy.
- Benefits & Compliance : Administer compensation and benefits; maintain confidential employee records; ensure labor law and policy compliance; drive HR policies; process terminations (UIF, provident fund, etc.); assist with IODs as required.
- Employee Relations : Address complaints, drive internal communication, act as first point of contact for HR queries.
- Performance Management : Support managers with evaluations and performance reviews.
- Training & Development : Organize training initiatives for employees.
- Administration & Reporting : HR metrics gathering and analysis; update and present reports with KPIs; manage HR trackers; prepare HR documents; end-to-end HR administrative functions as required.
- General : Maintain knowledge of position facets; attend meetings; keep workstation tidy; adhere to office hours; process emails daily; assist with ad-hoc tasks and industry trend monitoring.
- Standard Operating Procedures : Uphold disciplinary code, SOPs, agreed targets, service standards, and company values; ensure timely feedback and compliance.
