- The primary duty of the Business Development Manager for Air Logistics is to drive the growth within the geographical scope, interface to FU Sales, BU sales engagement, lead / support product development, lead / support pricing, and all solutions under Air Logistics.
How you create impact
Drive national air logistics volume and yield growth, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis to shape strategic direction.Lead customer development initiatives and collaborate across functional units (FU & BU) to strengthen sales performance and retention.Oversee rollout of global air logistics products and pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with KPIs and sustainability goals.Support the setup of Customer Care locations, monitor feedback tools, and manage escalations to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.Represent the company at local forums and exhibitions, contributing to industry dialogue through public speaking and published articles.What we would like you to bring
Proven 5–10 years of expertise in air logistics, complemented by 2–5 years in sales or business development, ideally within a global logistics environment.Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving process improvements, and implementing structured performance frameworks to future-proof operations.Deep understanding of air logistics products and market dynamics, with the ability to confidently represent the business in industry forums and client engagements.Willingness to travel internationally as needed, paired with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse cultures and functions.Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
