Senior Accountant (North West)

Introduction

Looking for SAICA / SAIPA Accountant with working experience as a senior accountant

Must be able to speak read and write English and Afrikaans

Experience working in Plant / Manufacturing / FMCG will be an advantage

Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial reports - Analyse costs pricing variable contributions sales results and the companys actual performance compared to the business plans - Financial control - Execute Cost / production accounting tasks - Drafting and advising on accounting policies and procedures
• Full Accounting function
• Monthly reconciliations
• Preparation of management accounts financial reports and analysis of financial data
• Preparation of all VAT recons all SARS related queries and audit correspondence
• Annual budget calculations and preparation
• Implementing new procedures and controls where required
• Administrative Control
• Liaison : Liaise with senior and line management external role players including SARS auditors banks and suppliers

Desired Experience & Qualification

Accounting or Financial Management

Must have articles

SAIPA Registration

8 years working experience

Must have solid working experience in a plant / manufacturing / FMCG environment
