Data Engineer – Johannesburg – up to R300k per annum

A global leader in cross-border VAT and tax recovery serving over 8000 clients in 100 countries worldwide is looking for an onsite Data Engineer to join their most technologically advanced team They are seeking a passionate and hands-on Data Engineer to contribute to the development of our revolutionary Compliance-as-a-Service platform, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our cloud-based platform, automating IT auditing for SaaS globally.

Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines
• Present insights via dashboards and data visualizations
• Conduct complex data analysis and reporting
• Interpret data trends and patterns to support decision-making
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions
• Prepare datasets for prescriptive and predictive modeling
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards, including documentation of data definitions and business glossaries
• Deliver data components as part of client-facing financial projects
