Statistical Data Analyst

We are seeking a Statistical Data Specialist to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. Youll be responsible for collecting, analysing, and presenting large datasets to senior stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information used across the organisation.

This role sits within the Credit Division, where your expertise in data, analytics, and reporting will directly support business strategy and enhance risk management.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver high-quality credit statistics and analytical reports for senior management and executive teams

Extract insights from data and communicate findings in a clear, actionable way

Support decision-making by preparing industry data reviews, model calibrations, and exposure clean-up reports

Identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements using data-driven insights

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with business objectives

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and statistical methodologies

Grow your technical capabilities to meet evolving organisational needs

Job Experience and Skills Required :

CA (SA) qualification (Financial Services exposure preferred)

Additional degree / diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field advantageous

Minimum 5+ years experience in a data analytics, MIS, or related role

Exposure to credit risk highly advantageous

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Pivot Tables / Charts, and statistical software (R, Python)
