Our client, based in Elandsfontein, is currently looking to employ an experienced Supply Chain Shift Supervisor to join their team.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management secures.

Requirements :
- Matric / Grade 12 (minimum).
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain supervisory role within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transport coordination.
- SAP system experience essential.Sound understanding of Health and Safety, Quality, and Compliance standards.
- Proven experience in people management, shift supervision, and performance monitoring.
- Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities :
Shift Operations Management
Oversee inbound, outbound, and internal logistics operations during assigned shifts.Coordinate manpower, equipment, and workflow to meet daily operational targets.Ensure receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes are carried out efficiently and safely.Verify and capture stock received on SAP within 24 hours.Ensure all dispatches are completed on time and in line with delivery schedules.Maintain product quality standards (no damaged, dirty, or poorly wrapped products dispatched).Conduct shift handovers and communicate operational updates to the next shift.Inventory Control and Accuracy
Conduct daily cycle counts and participate in monthly stocktakes.Investigate stock variances and implement corrective measures.Monitor stock movement to minimize losses and ensure FIFO is maintained.Escalate and manage slow-moving, obsolete, or low-voltage stock.Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving
Analyse shift performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.Lead or support improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.).Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.Communication, Administration and Reporting
Prepare and submit daily shift, performance, and exception reports.Maintain accurate attendance, productivity, and incident records.Update daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports.Ensure all dispatch documentation (picking, scanning, load reports) are checked and signed off.People Management
Supervise and develop shift employees to achieve operational targets.Manage attendance, leave, and performance issues.Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.Ensure payroll and HR submissions are accurate and timeous.Corporate Governance, Risk and Compliance
