Clinical Psychologist (Australia-Based Opportunity)

We are seeking qualified and motivated Clinical Psychologists who are looking to advance their careers in Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, multidisciplinary healthcare team committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of individuals across diverse communities.

You will work with children, adolescents, adults, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. The role is ideal for psychologists who are passionate about evidence-based care and personal growth in a professional and collaborative environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for clients presenting with a variety of mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, GPs, social workers, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and prepare reports in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
  • Deliver psychoeducation and counselling to support clients’ emotional and behavioural wellbeing.
  • Participate in case conferences, supervision, and professional development to maintain clinical competence and registration standards.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Must be willing to apply for eligibility for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment planning.
