Job Title : Backend Developer

Location : Pretoria, Gauteng

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and contribute to advanced algorithms for route optimization to improve delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with the data science team to integrate machine learning models and data analytics into backend processes.
• Develop and maintain backend services to support seamless integration with related services developed in Kotlin and C.
• Work with DevOps in Gitlab.
• Ensure proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, focusing on GIS data types.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team setting.
• Foresee potential issues in backend logic before they become problems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
• Experience with front-end technologies like React.
